The Aquatic Center will open for the 2008 summer season on Saturday May 24th. The Aquatic Center is located off highway 36 at 1700 Pleasant Drive, near the bridge to Illinois. It has 2 twisting slides, 1 drop slide, 2 diving boards, several water features, zero depth entry, lap swim only time (noon – 1pm), shaded areas, picnic tables, a pavilion outside and a newly renovated pool house with lockers, showers and concessions inside. HPR sells Pepsi products, Papa John's pizza, candy, hot dogs, nachos, sno-cones and much more!   
You must be at least 12 years old to enter alone. If you are under 12, you MUST be accompanied by someone 16 years or older. Appropriate dress will be enforced. Check at with front desk when entering for details. Capacity is 425 people. We open the Saturday before Memorial Day, and close mid-August when most of our staff go back to high school or leave for college. We are open 7 days/week, 1 – 6 weather permitting. Lap swim only is noon – 1, weekdays only. We host a Pooch Plunge for owners and their dogs after the pool closes on the last day of the season in August. Click here to see Pooch Plunge 2006.
