Central Park is located at 4th and Broadway. This 1 acre lighted park offers a water fountain, large gazebo with benches for audience, William Henry Hatch statue and a WWI and II memorial. Benches dot the landscape under shade of mature trees. For walkers, 3.5 times around the sidewalk = 1 mile. Hannibal Farmers' Market offers fresh produce here: Saturday mornings, 8 – noon May – October, and Tuesday afternoons, 3 – 7pm, June, July and August. The bandstand is available for rental. The cost is $15 for a half day (9am - 3pm) or (4pm - 10pm) or $20 for a full day. Call the Parks & Recreation Office (573) 221 0154 to check for availability. 
Broadway Mini Park is located at 215 Broadway. Just down the street from Central Park, this tiny half acre lighted area offers flower beds, shrubs and benches. Stop here to rest as you walk down Broadway towards the Mississippi River. Kiwanis Park is located at the end of Broadway, past Main Street, between Glascock's Landing and Nipper Park. It was dedicated in 1973, and rebuilt after the flood of 1993. This 1 acre park has playground equipment, shelters, picnic tables and parking near the river and Nipper Marina. Restrooms are nearby on Hill Street.
   
Glascock's Landing is located at the end of Hill Street, at the Mississippi River. It is just across the parking lot, north of Kiwanis Park. This 2 acre park offers a picturesque setting for the Mississippi Queen, Delta Queen and American Queen Riverboats to dock. Amenities include a water fountain, benches, purple martin houses, a large gazebo (with picnic tables and electricity) and restrooms nearby. Also, see Schwartz Gardens – offering lush landscaping and a statue of a young Samuel Clemens (Mark Twain). ***NEW FOR 2008*** The pavilion overlooking the river is available for rental. Nipper Park is located at the end of Broadway, past Main Street and next to Nipper Marina at the Mississippi River. It was funded with the help of Marion County Health Department & Home Health Agency, and Hannibal Rotary Club. This 1 acre park offers a concrete walkway (6 laps = 1 mile), benches, purple martin houses and a fountain. The transom of retired naval ship, the USS Coontz, was dedicated here March 31, 2007. Admiral Coontz was from Hannibal.
