Arbor Day Tree-Planting
DATE AND TIME
04/25 @ 1:30 pm - 2:30 pm
The city of Hannibal is celebrating Arbor Day appropriately by planting a tree.
The Tree Board will plant a tree at 1:30 p.m. Friday, April 25 at 1210 Broadway (across the street from the Save-A-Lot parking lot). Fourth-graders from Holy Family, St. John’s and Eugene Field schools will participate, along with staff from the Missouri Department of Conservation and volunteers from the Tree Board.
Each year in April, the National Arbor Day Foundation encourages everyone to celebrate and plant trees. The observance takes place each year on the last Friday in April.

Scavenger Hunts
The Hannibal Parks & Recreation Department has developed Scavenger Hunts to encourage visitors to the Hannibal parks. Hannibal children, along with visitors to Hannibal, will have a chance to explore our parks in a different way. These free activities allow participants to learn more about Hannibal Parks and to earn a free treat from a local business in the process!
Here are the scavenger hunts available so far (check back for future additions).
