The event will be under a big Quonset hut, so weather won’t be a factor. The event is sponsored by Hannibal Parks & Recreation, Hannibal Street Department and Parents as Teachers. The city of Hannibal will provide huge piles of sand and dirt for youngsters to play in and will also have several maintenance trucks on display. Children are encouraged to bring shovels, buckets, trucks, and digging toys.

Scavenger Hunts
The Hannibal Parks & Recreation Department has developed Scavenger Hunts to encourage visitors to the Hannibal parks. Hannibal children, along with visitors to Hannibal, will have a chance to explore our parks in a different way. These free activities allow participants to learn more about Hannibal Parks and to earn a free treat from a local business in the process!
