Bird Watching Walk

August begins bird migrations from purple martins who go all the way to Brazil to the ruby-throated hummingbirds arriving from Canada and the upper Midwest. Bring binoculars and check out the Merlin Bird App for learning bird calls. Walk is led with help from the Mississippi Hills Missouri Master Naturalists. Beginner and experienced birders welcome.

Scavenger Hunts
The Hannibal Parks & Recreation Department has developed Scavenger Hunts to encourage visitors to the Hannibal parks. Hannibal children, along with visitors to Hannibal, will have a chance to explore our parks in a different way. These free activities allow participants to learn more about Hannibal Parks and to earn a free treat from a local business in the process!
