Walking in a Winter Wonderland
DATE AND TIME
01/10 @ 11:00 am - 12:30 pm
- Meet at the North Ramble Trail near the North River Road Trail past the four-way stop. With or without snow, taking a walk in the woods in the winter is still a fun time to explore. With snow, animal tracks become visible and tell a story of foraging and survival. Without snow, there’s still signs to look for like where deer have been nibbling or where squirrels have built their tree nests. Getting out in nature in any season gives us opportunities to enjoy being outside and is good for mental and physical health.

Scavenger Hunts
The Hannibal Parks & Recreation Department has developed Scavenger Hunts to encourage visitors to the Hannibal parks. Hannibal children, along with visitors to Hannibal, will have a chance to explore our parks in a different way. These free activities allow participants to learn more about Hannibal Parks and to earn a free treat from a local business in the process!
Here are the scavenger hunts available so far (check back for future additions).
