There have been Senior Adult Dances at the Rec Center on Tuesdays for almost 50 years. Currently the band for the Senior Dances, called Uptown Strings, consists of Martin and Betty Miller, Harlon Lain, Wendell Glance and Greg Cornelius. Special guests often join the band. The dances are noon to 3 p.m. Tuesdays. Newcomers are always encouraged to join in, especially during Drop-in Pickleball, which will be offered Tuesday evenings at the Admiral Coontz Recreation Center.
