Birdwatching is a good way to commune with nature and find tranquility in Hannibal parks.
Hannibal Parks & Recreation is offering a Bird Walk from 8 to 9 a.m. Saturday, April 19 at Sodalis Nature Preserve. Due to the generous donation of Hannibal BASF, all nature programs are free.
The Bird Walk will be led by Hannibal Parks & Recreation’s Nature Interpreter Gale Rublee and members of the Mississippi Hills Missouri Master Naturalist chapter. Register at www.hannibalparks.recdesk.com/Community/Program
Participants are asked to bring binoculars and check out the Merlin Bird App for learning bird calls. Beginner and experienced birders are welcome.
