Continental Cement Company is take part in a cleanup of Hannibal Parks & Recreation properties from 8 a.m. to noon Wednesday, Nov. 6.

About 10 employees from Continental are participating in the Fall Volunteer Community Cleanup Day. They will be cleaning up trash on South Main Street and the Bear Creek Trail.

Melissa Myers, Sustainability Council representative for Continental Cement, said the parent company Summit Materials has challenged employees to participate in a cleanup. “This is just a part of the many contributions that CCC makes to the community and surrounding communities. “
