The Hannibal Parks & Recreation Indoor Horseshoe League ended its 48th year with a tournament recently.

The league began in September and took place in the Admiral Coontz Recreation Center on Sunday afternoons.

Emily Hultgren, recreation supervisor in charge of the Rec Center, said the league provides recreation for people of all ages. “Horseshoes combine fun, social interaction and friendly competition and we’re glad that we have the space to facilitate it through Parks & Recreation.”
