Genna Long

The first Summer Spotlight Employee of the Week has been named at the Ronny Ferrel Hannibal Aquatic Center. Genna Long is serving her first year as lifeguard.
Hannibal Parks & Recreation is paying tribute to employees at the Aquatic Center this summer with a special award each week.
Long is a junior at Hannibal High School and she enjoys dancing and swimming. After high school, she plans to work as a nurse’s assistant while seeking her bachelor’s degree in nursing. Long said she enjoys her work at the aquatic center. “I like working here because of the people I work with and being able to work about kids.”
She said her favorite treat at the concession stand is ice cream and her work hype song is “Unwritten” by Natasha Bedingfield.
The Summer Spotlight Employee receives prizes from Tom Boland Ford, Coffee Barn, Hula Bowls, Java Jive and Families and Communities Together.
