A nature program for the family called Nature’s Ink will be 1-3 p.m. Saturday March 15 at the Hannibal Arts Council activity room at 105 S. Main St.
This program is cosponsored by Hannibal Parks & Recreation, Hannibal Arts Council, Hannibal BASF and Mississippi Hills Chapter of Master Naturalists.
Local artist and Mississippi Hills Missouri Master Naturalist Kim Caisse will share her expertise and insight as participants experiment with natural items like oak galls to discover what colors they reveal. Her knowledge of nature and human connections enhances all she does and increases the appreciation and learning experience of those around her.
Materials are provided. The program is for ages 7 and up but anyone under the age of 13 must be accompanied by an adult.
Registration for the program is available through the Hannibal Arts Council website: hannibalartscouncil.eventbrite.com or through Hannibal Parks & Recreation website: https://hannibalparks.recdesk.com/Community/Program
