Clear weather is in the forecast for the last night hike of the year. The Night Hike begins at 5 p.m. Nov. 2 at the parking lot at Sodalis Nature Preserve but participants are welcome to join in at any time until 7 p.m.

Interpreter guide Gale Rublee will give a program about the Indiana bats at the amphitheater every half-hour starting at 5:30 p.m. Members of the Mississippi Hills chapter of Master Naturalists will have stations with different interactive experiences and sensory awareness on the upper trail at Sodalis Nature Preserve.

Rublee, Hannibal Parks & Recreation interpreter guide, will lead the nature program. She has more than 25 years of experience as a nature educator. She is a founding member of the Mississippi Hills Master Naturalists chapter in Hannibal and is coordinator and teacher for the Bluff City Theater Youth Education in Theater Initiative.
