A free class for anyone interested in learning about pickleball will be Jan. 6 at the Admiral Coontz Recreation Center.
“Pickleball 101” will be 6-8 p.m. The class is limited to 24 people and registration is required at www.hannibalparks.org.

Pickleball is a paddle sport that combines elements of tennis, badminton and ping-pong using a paddle and plastic ball with holes. It is a game that is appropriate for players of all ages and skill levels. Rules for pickleball are simple, making it a great introductory sport.
Registration for Hannibal Parks & Recreation Winter Pickleball League is open and play begins Jan. 20, 2026. Participants may sign up for leisure, intermediate or competitive league. Registration is available online at www.hannibalparks.org.
