Huckleberry Pickleball

Pickleball equipment is now available for use at the Ramp Park in Huckleberry Park.

There are eight pickleball courts at Huckleberry Park. The tennis courts were resurfaced in June and painted with both tennis and pickleball lines. There are pickleball nets on rollers available for use.

The attendant at the Ramp Park will have pickleball paddles and ball available for use. The Ramp Park is open 4 p.m. to dusk weekdays and noon to dusk weekends.

Pickleball play is especially popular on Tuesday evenings starting at 6 p.m. Players encourage participation to increase the enthusiasm of the sport of pickleball.

Registration is still available for leisure, intermediate and competitive doubles pickleball beginning Sept. 10 in the Admiral Coontz Recreation Center.

The leagues will play Tuesday nights Sept. 10-Oct. 15 and there will be a Competitive Tournament on Oct. 22. Registration is available at the Hannibal Parks & Recreation office at City Hall, 320 Broadway. Registration is $35 per team.
