Hannibal Parks & Recreation is seeking photos of people filling sandbags for the Sandbag Selfie program.

Anyone who participated in filling sandbags in Hannibal the last few weeks can send photos to the Hannibal Parks & Recreation Facebook page. Photos will be added to the time capsule that will be opened in the year 2069. Mary Lynne Richards, recreation supervisor in charge of marketing for Hannibal Parks & Recreation, said, “We are so grateful to our volunteers, we want to show even 50 years from now how our community pulls together in a time of crisis.”
