The Senior Adult Dances will be on hiatus during the holiday season and will be back at the Admiral Coontz Recreation Center Jan. 7, 2025.
Senior Adult Dances are every Tuesday from noon to 3 p.m. at the rec center. The band now known as Uptown Strings have been playing at senior adult dances for 50 years, led by Betty Parsons Miller.
Current band members besides Betty are: Martin Miller, Ray Smith, Harlon Lain, Wendell Glance, Greg Cornelius, Alan Ebers and Sue Taylor.
