The 13th annual Senior Expo is taking place during the Bicentennial this year. The theme of the Expo is “Our Story Our Town.”
Senior Expo will be 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursday, April 18 the Admiral Coontz Recreation Center.
Stacey Nicholas, director of RSVP, said, “Hannibal is celebrating its 200th birthday and as our senior citizens celebrate their years, we want to hear their stories.”
About 600 senior adults are expected to attend with about 80 vendors.
The scavenger hunt that was added two years ago will be continued. Some of the vendors have submitted questions about their business or program and participants can fill out the scavenger hunt voluntarily to win prizes. There are several door prizes available at the Senior Expo, and each participant will receive tickets so they can choose what prizes they would like to win.
Vendors are being sought on a first-come, first served basis. To register, contact Stacey Nicholas, RSVP director, at 573-221-3892 ext. 247, RSVP@douglassonline.org.
