Celebrate 48 years of the Senior Dance at Admiral Coontz Recreation Center noon-3 p.m. Sept. 28!
University of Missouri Extension is offering a Matter of Balance: Fall Prevention program at Admiral Coontz Recreation Center from 1-3 p.m. Sept. 29, Oct. 6, 13, 20, 27 and Nov. 3, 10, 17.

Free basketball clinic at the Hannibal Parks & Recreation courts at Sixth Street and Warren Barrett Drive, Norfolk & Southern Multi-Sports Park.
The clinic is for children in 4th-6th grades. The dates and times follow:
• Sept. 19 4-5:30 p.m. for girls; 5:30-7 p.m. for boys
• Sept. 26 4-5:30 p.m. for girls; 5:30-7 p.m. for boys

Dedication of the Veterans Memorial and Freedom Bell will be 2 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 6.
The Veterans Memorial and Freedom Bell is at Cardiff Hill Overlook Park, allowing a beautiful view of the Mississippi River. The pathway will consist of memorial bricks, which can still be purchased by loved ones to honor a member of the military. The customized bricks may be purchased for $125 per brick.
