The Hannibal Parks & Recreation Department recently installed a Storybook Trail in Central Park which will be available through Oct. 9.

The book is “The Seals on the Bus” by Lenny Hort, which is an animal-filled version of the classic children’s song “The Wheels on the Bus.”

The books were donated by Scholastic.  Storybook Trail is a free, family-oriented activity that the Hannibal Parks & Recreation Department sponsors biannually. The pages of the book are installed along the sidewalk in Central Park, which allows for social distancing while walking through the park and reading the story.
