Teenagers are always looking for fun free activities they can do with their friends. The CHART Teen Task Force will have its 25th Teen Health Fair from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 5 at the Admiral Coontz Recreation Center in downtown Hannibal.
Masks will be required for all visitors and participants.
The Health Fair features several booths on health and safety for teens, a DJ with music, free prizes for teens and free food for all visitors. Information on mental health issues, dental health, abstinence, contraception, sexually transmitted diseases and effects of drugs and alcohol will be presented.
This free teen event is geared to middle and high school students, parents, teachers and other caregivers. It is designed to promote healthy lifestyle choices for teens, and is an opportunity for church youth groups, scout groups, school groups and families with teens to combine fun and learning.
The event is co-sponsored by the CHART Teen Task Force and Hannibal Parks & Recreation.
