Hannibal artist Mark Wavering will showcase his artwork in Hannibal’s Central Park.

The exhibit is called Flaunting Flowers and there are two parts to the exhibit. There are about 15 pieces in each segment. The photographs of flowers were taken all over Hannibal and are included in Wavering’s book “Flowers Illustrated.”

Part 1 will be shown June 19 to July 1 and Part 2 will be shown July 3-20.

They artwork will be displayed in Central Park, posted on signs so people can walk along the sidewalk and view the art.

Social distancing is encouraged. Staying at least six feet away from other people lessens the chance of catching COVID-19.

Wavering has exhibited his artwork in various venues in Hannibal, Moberly, Columbia and Quincy, Ill.
