HPR offers many programs and recreational opportunities. We strive to offer activities for all ages, all levels of ability and a variety of interests. We proactively look to promote healthy, active lifestyles. Senior, adult, youth and family activities are available. Whatever you are into, HPR has something for you. Call 573-221-0154 for details. Admiral Coontz Recreation Center
For children up to 5 years old
Young children will be able to use the gym without colliding with basketball players
Imagination Playground building blocks will be brought into the gymnasium
There are also coloring books, puzzles, balls and games
This is not a babysitting service - each adult is allowed to bring no more than four children and must sign in with the attendant

Tuesday and Thursday nights - Starting May 17th and 19th - 6PM
Sand Courts at Southside Rec #1
Co-Ed 6v6 Recreational Leagues
$150 per team - limit of 12 teams
A single elimination tournament will follow leagues

Join us at 8PM when Kristen Alvey-Mudd, director of the Missouri Bat Census, will give a presentation of bats she discovered in Sodalis Nature Preserve - she will have live baby bats on hand to show!

Big Dirt Dig
Saturday, June 11, 2016 - 9:30-11:30AM
Admiral Coontz Recreation Center parking lot
HPR staff members will provide a huge pile of dirt for youngsters to play in and the HPR back hoe will be parked nearby
Youngsters can bring small shovels, buckets, toy trucks or loaders to play with in the dirt
The event is sponsored by Hannibal Parks & Recreation and Parents as Teachers
2016 Swim Lessons
Hannibal Aquatic Center
Session 1: June 13th – 16th & 20th – 23rd (6:10PM to 6:50PM) – Registration deadline is June 10th
Session 2: July 11th – 14th & 18th – 21st (11:00AM to 11:40AM) – Registration deadline is July 8th
Session 3: July 11th – 14th & 18th – 21st (6:10PM to 6:50PM) – Registration deadline is July 8th
Cost is $40 per student - Only 24 slots available per session
Register only at the Hannibal Parks & Rec Office (inside City Hall - 320 Broadway)
The minimum age accepted is 4 years old
Refunds will only be given if requested at least 14 days prior to the first lesson

The Hannibal Parks & Recreation Department has developed Scavenger Hunts to encourage visitors to the HPR sites\
These free activities allow participants to learn more about Hannibal Parks and to earn a free treat from a local business in the process!
