HPR offers many programs and recreational opportunities. We strive to offer activities for all ages, all levels of ability and a variety of interests. We proactively look to promote healthy, active lifestyles. Senior, adult, youth and family activities are available. Whatever you are into, HPR has something for you. Call 573-221-0154 for details. Toddler Tuesdays
Every Tuesday from 9-11AM (may be canceled due to special events)
Admiral Coontz Recreation Center
For children up to 5 years old
Young children will be able to use the gym without colliding with basketball players
Imagination Playground building blocks will be brought into the gymnasium
There are also coloring books, puzzles, balls and games
This is not a babysitting service - each adult is allowed to bring no more than four children and must sign in with the attendant

Pumpkins in the Park
Sunday, October 25, 2015 - 3-5PM
Nipper Park
Join us for a pumpkin decorating contest and exhibit!
Categories: Scariest, Most Original, and Funniest
Age Groups: Children (12 & Under) and Adults (13 & Up)
Performance by Eugene Field Pirate Singers at 3:30PM!
All pumpkins must be pre-decorated and at Nipper Park between 2-3PM on October 25th
Pumpkins can be decorated with paint, glitter, markers, etc., but cannot be carved

Freaky Friday Halloween Decorating Contest
Decorate your house or business for Halloween and take a photo or video of it for judging
Prizes for: Most Creative, Scariest, and Overall Display
Prizes donated by FACT (Families and Communities Together)
Entries must be submitted by 5 p.m. on October 29, 2015

Shooter's Education
Thursdays - November 5, 2015 through February 25, 2016 - 6:30-0PM
Admiral Coontz Recreation Center
A FREE program where youths learn ethics, sportsmanship, safe/proper handling of firearms, wildlife management, animal identification, etc.
Open to youths from 8-16 years of age (no experience needed)
Registration will be held on Thursday, October 29th at 6PM at the Recreation Center
Registration will be followed by a short intro and Q&A session
Volunteers are needed!  Ask how you can help when you attend registration!

Pickleball League
Tuesdays, November 10-December 8, 2015 & Monday, December 14, 2015 - 5:30PM
Admiral Coontz Recreation Center
$35 per team (doubles only) - ages 13 & up

Scavenger Hunts
The Hannibal Parks & Recreation Department has developed Scavenger Hunts to encourage visitors to the HPR sites\
These free activities allow participants to learn more about Hannibal Parks and to earn a free treat from a local business in the process!
