Senior Adult Dance
Senior Adult Dance
There have been Senior Adult Dances at the Rec Center on Tuesdays for almost 50 years. Currently the band for the Senior Dances, called Uptown Strings, consists of Martin and Betty Miller, Harlon Lain, Wendell Glance and Greg Cornelius. Special guests often join the band. The dances are noon to 3 p.m. Tuesdays.

About 30 vendors participate in the Farmers Market each week. Bird Watching Walk
Bird Watching Walk
Saturday, June 21, 8-9 a.m. Bird Walk at Sodalis Nature Preserve. Bring binoculars and check out the Merlin Bird App for learning bird calls. Walk is led with help from the Mississippi Hills Missouri Master Naturalists. Beginner and experienced birders welcome. Programs are free thanks to Hannibal BASF. The celebration kicks off with a parade down Main Street starting at 10 a.m. There will be activities at Nipper Park at the riverfront during the day, with announcements being made by emcee Michael Miller.

Boat check-in is 10 a.m. June 28, with the first launch at 11 a.m. Each boat must have two passengers, ages 6-16.
