Creatures of the Night
The full Night Hike program lasts about two hours and follows a mile-long paved trail. The hike will begin at the parking lot at Sodalis Nature Preserve and will proceed along Bear Creek Trail to Patchen Street. Participants can then hike up the rocky slope of Evan’s Trail or return to the parking lot.
Hannibal Parks & Recreation nature programs are free but reservations are requested by calling 221-0154 or by emailing mlrichards@hannibal-mo.gov. Hannibal Parks & Recreation offers nature programs to fulfill the mission of contributing to the community’s health and well being and encourage the use of parks and facilities.

Scavenger Hunts
The Hannibal Parks & Recreation Department has developed Scavenger Hunts to encourage visitors to the Hannibal parks. Hannibal children, along with visitors to Hannibal, will have a chance to explore our parks in a different way. These free activities allow participants to learn more about Hannibal Parks and to earn a free treat from a local business in the process!
