Storybook Trail
DATE AND TIME
05/01/2020 - 05/18/2020
The Hannibal Parks & Recreation Department will have a Storybook Trail in Central Park May 1-18.
The book is “Little Owl’s Night” by Divya Srinivasan, a book about an owl who listens to a bedtime tale from his mother.
The signs were donated by Park Place Sign Systems of Hannibal and the books were donated by Scholastic.
Storybook Trail is a free, family-oriented activity that the Hannibal Parks & Recreation Department sponsors biannually. The pages of the book are installed along the sidewalk in Central Park, which allows for social distancing while walking through the park and reading the story.

Scavenger Hunts
The Hannibal Parks & Recreation Department has developed Scavenger Hunts to encourage visitors to the Hannibal parks. Hannibal children, along with visitors to Hannibal, will have a chance to explore our parks in a different way. These free activities allow participants to learn more about Hannibal Parks and to earn a free treat from a local business in the process!
Here are the scavenger hunts available so far (check back for future additions).
