Summer Solstice Sojourn
DATE AND TIME
06/21 @ 4:00 pm - 5:00 pm
“Summer Solstice Sojourn” family nature program is 4 p.m. Tuesday, June 21 at Bear Creek trail, starting at the Sodalis Nature Preserve parking lot. Gale Rublee, Hannibal Parks & Recreation nature educator, said the walk will be on a mostly shaded paved trail from the Sodalis parking lot to Patchen Street. “We’ll do nature activities and a scavenger hunt along the way and maybe go to a secret place at the end of the Bear Creek Trail to get our feet wet!“ She encouraged participants to bring a water bottle and wear clothing that can get wet.
Hannibal Parks & Recreation nature programs are free, but reservations must be made by calling 221-0154 or by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org.

News and Events
The Hannibal Parks & Recreation Department has developed Scavenger Hunts to encourage visitors to the Hannibal parks. Hannibal children, along with visitors to Hannibal, will have a chance to explore our parks in a different way. These free activities allow participants to learn more about Hannibal Parks and to earn a free treat from a local business in the process!
Here are the scavenger hunts available so far (check back for future additions).
