Pedal Power
The sixth annual Pedal Power event is Jan. 18 at the Admiral Coontz Recreation Center. The Hannibal Parks & Recreation Department is opening up the building from 10 a.m. to noon for youngsters ages 2-6 to bring their pedal-powered vehicles inside to ride. It’s the only day vehicles are allowed inside the building. Parents as Teachers will have other interactive play available. The winter Competitive/Intermediate/Leisure Pickleball Leagues return on Tuesday, January 14, 2020 at the Admiral Coontz Recreation Center. They will run on Tuesdays from January 14th to February 18th, with a Competitive Tournament to follow on Tuesday, February 25th. Leagues may be combined based on number of registrations received. Indoor archery starts Dec. 4 at Admiral Coontz Recreation Center. Anyone may practice their archery skills from 6:30 to 9 p.m. Wednesdays until Feb. 26, 2020. There will be no session Dec. 25 and Jan. 1 but there will be indoor archery on Thursday, Dec. 26 and Jan. 2. Participants under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult. The Hannibal Area Shooter's Education Youth BB Gun League returns on November 7th! This FREE program teaches youths ethics, sportsmanship, safe/proper handling of firearms, wildlife management, animal identification, etc. It's for youths aged 8 to 18 - no experience needed. The leagues run Thursday evenings from 6-9PM from November 7th-February 27th (when school is in session).
