The Senior Dances are noon to 3 p.m. on Tuesdays at the Admiral Coontz Recreation Center, featuring the music of Betty Parsons Miller and the Uptown Strings, tips are encouraged for the band. Carry-ins are held during special occasions. The group has been playing for Senior Dances for almost 50 years.

Ann Dorsey Hodgdon playground grand opening
Mayor Jim Hark and Central Services Director Andy Dorian will each say a few words welcoming the crowd and Joel Booth from Farmers & Merchants Bank and Trust will share the historic contribution that Ann Dorsey Hodgdon made in Hannibal. Members of Girl Scout Troop 9012 will cut the ribbons to the slides.

Spring Cleanup
Spring Cleanup
Volunteers should meet anytime from 8 to 11 a.m. at the Y’Men’s Pavilion, 105 Hill St. The cleanup is sponsored by Hannibal Board of Public Works, Hannibal Parks & Recreation and Hannibal Area Chamber of Commerce. Gloves and trash bags will be provided by the Hannibal Board of Public Works.
