University of Missouri Extension is offering a Matter of Balance: Fall Prevention program at Admiral Coontz Recreation Center from 1-3 p.m. Oct. 20, 27 and Nov. 3, 10, 17.

Central Park Farmers Market open Tuesday 3-7 p.m.
7:30 a.m. to noon Saturday!
Pumpkin-decorating contest and exhibit — at Central Park Saturday, Oct. 30. The event will be in conjunction with the last day of Central Park Farmers Market. Winners will be announced at noon. More Information here.
Ramp Park at Huckleberry Park open 4 p.m. to dark weekdays;
noon to dark weekends
Disc golf tournament will be Saturday, Nov. 6, starting at 9 a.m. at the Don Crane Disc Golf Course in Hannibal’s Huckleberry Park. Registration will be at 8 a.m. The second round will be played at Flower City Park in Palmyra. Registration available here.

Dedication of the Veterans Memorial and Freedom Bell will be 2 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 6.
The Veterans Memorial and Freedom Bell is at Cardiff Hill Overlook Park, allowing a beautiful view of the Mississippi River. The pathway will consist of memorial bricks, which can still be purchased by loved ones to honor a member of the military. The customized bricks may be purchased for $125 per brick.
Parade starts at 11 a.m., lining up at 1222 Broadway
